MORE EDITING!
Audio Transition
Hello! Today we filmed more of our project and got more things done for the room scene! What I am going to be talking about in this blog is the audio transition from the sirens to the alarm of Adam waking up. I did not want to use a tutorial and I wanted to play around with buttons on Clipchamp until I achieved what I wanted it to sound like. The way I went about this was I first inserted the clip of the alarm sound right after the clip of zooming out of Sarah with all of the police and ambulance sirens playing in the background. Then what I did was detached the sound of the alarm and layered it onto the clip so the sound was exaggerated and very loud.
What I did after that was drag the sound file of the sirens to end at the middle of the clip of the alarm. Then I went into where I can fade it out and made it the highest setting to fade out which is in the setting 2. Then I did this for each of the layers of the siren sounds. Then I also went into each sound layer of the alarm and made it fade in with one of the lower settings, I used .6. With all of these things put together it made a really cool effect that the sound of the sirens then faded in to a really loud alarm clock going off.
Other things that I have so far in the editing is I have cut the clips of how long I want them to be. Tomorrow I am going to play around with the coloring and hues of the scenes in the room to see how I can make it look darker and dull to add to the effect of the change.
